Good Afternoon

I am the Project Officer for Participation of Children and Young People within the Children, Families and Education Directorate at Kent County Council and I was wondering if anyone has any information on:

- The Training available in consultation methods to be used for Children and Young People
- Training available for our staff (from Social Workers, Teachers, Senior Management etc) in methods of participation
- Training for children and young people in methods of participation
- If anyone has experience of using training resources from companies, voluntary organisations etc to develop consultation and participation with children and young people, (any feedback would be great - including costs, personal experience, if the training matched the proposed outcomes etc)

I am looking to put together a proposal outlining any training needs we have, and therefore suggesting options for building the skills base here in Kent for further developing participation of children and young people, and so any information any one has would be of great use to me, and I will be eternally grateful.
