Subject: Assessment Tomorrow - The Learning and Skills Sector - London 2007
With apologies for cross posting
Assessment Tomorrow - London 2007 Conference
Building a 21st Century Assessment System to Support Learning and Skills
Demands for places is high, at this the fifth annual conference for all
those who plan, control and manage the assessment of qualifications in the
Learning and Skills Sector. With two weeks to go we delighted to confirm the
most interesting and rewarding line up speakers yet.
Conference Title: Assessment Tomorrow - The Learning and Skills Sector -
London 2007
Friday 23rd November 2007 at the Cavendish Conference Centre, London W1
Fee: £250 plus VAT (Discounted for colleges and schools to £210 + VAT)
The pattern of learner accreditation and qualifications for the Learning and
Skills Sector is changing with the introduction of the new Framework and
14-19 Diplomas. New technologies and qualifications will play a critical
role in ensuring that these developments are accessible to as wide a range
of learners as possible. This conference will look at some of the latest
developments in Assessment and Qualifications for the Learning and Skills
Sector and how they may be used in the future to support the changing
qualification landscape.
The 2007 event will be a full and rewarding conference with speakers from a
range of organisations at the forefront of these exciting developments.
Looking at the practical issues of using these new technologies, tools and
techniques, the conference will examine how to deliver the benefits and
addresses questions such as:
* What are the latest developments?
* What is the impact on learners, employers, professional associations and
awarding bodies?
* How do we improve the value to learners and users?
* How could the requirements of new and revised qualifications be met by the
use of e-Assessment?
* Where will the new ideas and techniques lead us in the future?
We trust you or one of your colleagues will be able to join us for what will
certainly prove to be a valuable and thought-provoking day.
