Several people have asked for a summary of responses so here goes.
Most of the respondents seem to be using Tiny Tags in small store rooms.
Two people are using the Tiny Tag Ultra. One person suggested using
several units for comparison purposes, for example one situated centrally
and one near an external wall.
All except one of the responses were broadly favourable.
Main advantages:
reliability and ease of use. Data is transferred to your pc via a USB
cable and download is quick. The software is easy to use, and printing out
graphs straightforward.
Disadvantages:
Collecting multiple units from storerooms in different locations can be
time consuming - under these circumstances a radio logger might be a
better bet.
Several people pointed out that the units need to be sent away for
callibration, which can be costly. Other manufacturers' units can
apparently be callibrated yourself if you buy a calibration kit.
One respondent said that they had found the software inflexible - for
example the scale of the graphs was difficult to read and it wasn't
possible to display temp and RH on the same graph.
Thank you again to all those who responded. I hope this is helpful.
