I have a question:
Since we believe that life is sacred from conception to natural death,
what about the time the person starts searching for a vocation? Suppose
the person is a woman and she feels Christ is calling her to the
ministerial priesthood. But she is told that the church will not test
her vocation because she is female, which is a ludicrous absurdity,
since Christ assumed human nature and women fully share human nature. I
am concerned there may be another kind of abortion to deal with, i.e.,
the number of women whose priestly vocations have been aborted due to
the anatomy of their bodies. What do you think?
Sincerely,
Luis
