Hi.
This is a GTK2 issue.
Pressing the Display Manager button makes the Display Manager button the
"default" widget in that window (in my theme, that is marked by a blue
border to the button).
Press Tab to make the default widget be the main openGL graphics widget.
(And "Reset View" works similarly).
This needs to be addressed at some stage.
