Hi David,
We use Terminalfour Site Manager. On the whole we are very pleased and
would recommend it. No obvious pitfalls. Would make the same decision if
we had to choose again.
There is a very good book "Content Management Systems" (ISBN 1-904151-06-X)
that gives a comprehensive list of features you need to consider when buying
a CMS. We used this to determine what we actually needed our CMS to do for
us. We then came up with a list of criteria to shortlist the CMS vendors.
Let me know if you need more information.
Cheers,
Steve

Subject: Web Content Management Systems - info request
Just doing a bit of research into web content management systems.. Can
anybody let me know which institutions are using what and what are your
experiences the ones you have/are using - if you were picking a CMS again
would you use the product you are using now. What pitfalls did you have to
negotiate?
You can email me back directly if you want.
Thanks in advance and have a great weekend. ;-)
