Hi Jacquie
Have you tried this site? I've found it invaluable and very interesting to
'dip' into. It seems to hold a vast amount of climatic information.

Subject: [LOCAL-HISTORY] Weather in history
Hi,
I'm interested in finding out whether there are any books, archives, or
internet sites that relate to the weather in history. I have a colleague
who is researching the brewing history in the early 1400s, and it would be
advantageous to know the weather conditions at that time.
Does anyone know of anything or have any ideas how I could find out?
Many thanks,
Jacquie Fillmore
