Hi,
Following on from the success of our August meeting the "Scottish Federated Access Management Forum" aka McShib will be holding a 2nd get together on 14th December at the offices of the JISC Regional Support Centre for Scotland North & East, based at Edinburgh's Telford College.
"The meeting will be of interest to anyone involved in access management within their organisation, particularly technical and library staff. It will include presentations in an informal setting, as well as plenty of time for discussion and networking."
Although intended as a get together for folks from Scotland we do of course welcome visits from our near neighbours - assuming you have an up to date passport and valid visa (card).
I'm very pleased that we have presentations from Ian Young ("An IdP's Guide to the Core Attributes") and from Alastair Young ("Shibb O'Leth, bouncing the gateway" ), but as well there is also plenty of time set aside for discussion.
Booking information is on the RSC web site: http://www.rsc-ne-scotland.ac.uk/events.php#mcshib2
