Anyone who pays anything ( e.g. monthly account ) would be liable for
VAT. We don't own any land, but, because we need to upload images etc.
I have a personal account - this is liable for the VAT charge ...

I don't know if Linden just mailshotted (?!?) all EU residents just in case ...
