What is the version number of the spm_dicom_convert.m function that is being
called? Type the following to see what happens:
which spm_dicom_convert
which spm_config_dicom
The fact that you have a spm5\spm5 directory may suggest that the updates are
going into a different directory from the original. If this is the case,
then the version of spm_dicom_convert.m that is called may not be compatible
with the version of spm_config_dicom.m.
