Dear Colleagues,
A quick reminder that the deadline for booking a place on the Debates in
Informal Care workshop is 31 October 2007 (taking place at Lancaster
University on 22 November 2007)
This is an opportunity to discuss key debates in informal care research
such as the complex policy intersections within the caring nexus, care and
work, the implications of an ageing population, as well as disability
critiques of care.
It is already being attended by academics and post-graduates from a range
of backgrounds, as well as representatives from carer and disability
agencies. Given one of the aims is to develop future research such
partnerships with the voluntary sector are vitally important.
If you would like to find out more information and/or fill out the booking
form, please visit the website: http://www.lancs.ac.uk/fass/ihr/event/1868
or contact [log in to unmask]
I look forward to hearing from you.
Best regards
Andy
