Hosted by The Stroke Association, the UK Stroke Forum is a coalition of
organisations committed to improving stroke care in the UK. The Forum
allows stroke clinicians and researchers to meet and share ideas,
disseminate examples of good clinical practice and promote multi-
disciplinary research.
UK Stroke Forum Co-ordinator
£22,741 to £29,336 - 35 hours per week
To ensure the continued success of the UK Stroke Forum we are seeking to
recruit an experienced conference planner who will be responsible for
organising and managing the Forum’s annual conference. This is an exciting
and challenging role, as your excellent interpersonal skills will allow you
to form and maintain professional relationships and provide the invaluable
link with those organisations involved with the Forum. In addition your
excellent organisation and IT skills will be invaluable as you will provide
an efficient secretariat to the Forum Steering Group and Scientific
Conference Committee and be responsible for the maintenance and development
of the Forum website. Long term, you will be given the opportunity to
provide the strategic planning to drive the Forum forward. This is an ideal
opportunity for an individual who is self-motivating within the framework
of a diverse team and would like to make a difference to those affected by
stroke.
The preferred location for this post is Northampton, however, other
