Then there are things I like because they are kitsch. Most of them
are films, but much Victorian popular verse could also serve as an
example. (I've always suspected for instance that the ludicrous "They
told me Heraclitus they told me you were dead ..." has been so
popular exactly because it is so awful.)
And of course there are whole anthologies devoted openly to bad verse.
