This is a very interesting discussion for me, as I am sort of a betweener in
matters pertaining to the list. Some people on the list provide a good deal
of input, and it's refreshing and rewarding to read/learn from. Others watch
(listen). A nice spectrum, perhaps. Time makes things a little bit
challenging for everyone, I know.
For me, the reading of snaps and comments sometimes finds its way / makes
its way into depth that really allows consideration. It is amazing how
thought does not coincide with speech at a given time. I am quite talkative,
and I write and correspond as well. At particular moments, email as a medium
spawns less (from me) rather than more.
Who knows? In any case, I do appreciate the willingness of all to put
forward this issue and discussion. Thanks for the existence of the list,
both to list managers (across the time sequence) and to members. This is a
wonderful list, distinguished from almost all of the lists to which I
belong. It strikes me as both generous and evocative of thought, of
conversation, of art.
