Dear all
Can I add to my thanks for a very stimulating day on Saturday. The diversity of inputs ensured that everyone "heard" something that had direct relevance to thier current work, but also were taken into "new" areas of knowledge.
It is always difficult to "devote" a weekend day to "work" when you have a family at home, but I felt that the whole day was invaluable. I made new contacts (always important), had my brain exercised (again important) and came away buzzing with ideas.
At my team meeting on Tuesday, we are going to look at Rosalind's paper.
Thank you
Kerry

Subject: Re: BERA SIGs and CARN Day 29 September
Dear All,
Thank you SO much for support and interest from our on-line community from
this list. The Day was a splendid event in so many ways. As several people
said, speaking I feel for all, there was such passion for enabling research
through mentoring and coaching. There is already discussion about a further
collaborative venture between our SIG, the BERA Practitioner SIG and CARN.
For me the Day 'lived the dream' of participating in a truly collaborative
event where knowledge, resources, discussion, ideas & humanity intertwined.
Utterly exhausted but happy, I've just got home to Bath so please bear with
me if I am rather quiet for a few days as I recharge my batteries... I'll
check in and read postings and I look forward to on-going exchanges of ideas
about how mentoring and coaching assist in a process of knowledge creation.
Very best regards and thanks to all who took part,
Sarah
PS If you couldn't come this Day, do come to the next at Sharnbrook School.
