But surely Elsevier (or any other publisher) wouldn't do that kind of thing!! Just as they wouldn't withdraw 'free online with print' via certain platforms....!
Have a great weekend yourself.

Somewhat cynically, I would posit that the publisher (Elsevier) hope to drag the other titles up to the premium currently paid for Paediatrics & Child Health....but I would say that, wouldn't I!

Subject: [LIS-MEDICAL] Subscribers to Paediatrics & Child Health
Some of you will be subscribers to Paediatrics and Child Health www.paediatricsandchildhealthjournal.co.uk (formerly Current Paediatrics) .
You may have noticed with the change of title (in 2007) there was also a change in format of the journal.
The journal is now in the same format as other titles from Medicine Publishing (eg Anaesthesia & Intensive Care 1472-0299, Medicine 1357-3039, Psychiatry 1476-1793, Surgery 0263-9319). All of these journals are priced at a similar level (around £250 for an institutional subscription) yet strangely Paediatrics and Child Health is double the price (over £500).
The other rather odd thing is that personal subscriptions of all the journals (including Paediatrics) are about the same (about £140).
I was hoping they would alter the price to be the same as their other publications but I've contacted the publisher and they are still quoting the same high price for next year. Its almost like in revising the format they've forgotten to revise the price and left it at the former Current Paediatrics level.......
If you do subscribe you may want to keep an eye on the journal and its pricing.
