**Dial “M” for Mentor**
Antony Brewerton will help you explore what mentoring is all about, the
benefits to the mentor and mentee, and how to make an informal mentoring
scheme work for you.
Antony is Head of Academic Support in the Library at the University of
Warwick. He was formally at Oxford Brookes University and Reading
University Library where he embarked on an informal mentoring scheme with
a younger colleague. Antony has several years experience of staff
management and has acted as both a Chartership supervisor and Fellowship
mentor for CILIP. He has written widely on staff development and has had
various articles published on mentoring in a library setting.
