Are there any libraries who are offering an online inter library loan form
for journal articles and using that without getting a “paper” signature? I
thought it was now allowed but BL pointed me to paper on CILIP web site by
Sandy Norman which says “To sum up, it looks like librarians may receive
declaration forms electronically as long as the personal signature
requirement is fulfilled. This means that the signature has to have some
unique link to the requester e.g. linked to some form of authentication
system”
Have any libraries managed this?
Thanks
Maureen
