Hi,
I'd agree with Catherine's comments on Coutts and Myilibrary, though one of the things that is not ideal is the fact that it's very difficult to click back on My ilibrary, you get caught in a loop and it is far from obvious how to get out, particularly for some of our users who hate computers anyway (can't imagine why!!). Having said that, Myilibrary is definitely one of the better ebook interfaces I've seen so far.
In a previous job we also had a trial to some ebooks from Gale, which weren't bad, and also from Knovel (very heavy duty science titles in the meain), who were excellent though not cheap.
Elsevier have a lot of ebooks but I have, unfortunately, found them difficult to deal with in both my current and previous jobs.
Paula.

Dear Carly-Dee
We use MyiLibrary, as it is also used by the NHS. Our members seem happy with it, although there are problems with firewalls blocking the referrer URL. Coutts are a very nice company to deal with, and will go to publishers to negotiate rights for books we want.

Catherine

Subject: E-Book platforms
Dear All
Sorry this is an e-book question on an e-journals list, but I wondered if you would be able to help.
My institution is currently trialling E-Book platforms.
We would like to know if you subscribe to any E-Book platforms and if so could you let me know what you like about it and what you wish were better e.g. functionality of the platform and the interface.
Any help you could give us would be very much appreciated
Many Thanks,
