Subject: New telephone system reminder for Gateway House staff
Dear all,
>From next Thursday, 1 November, the new phone system will be live and
operational. By now most of you should have your new phones and for those
that don't it is hoped that this will be resolved by next Thursday.
This means that all staff will have a new telephone number as well as a new
phone and if you have not begun to do so it is advised that you start
advertising your new number to contacts you may have.
Below are five tips on how you can advertise your new number.
1.. Include a new signature at the bottom of emails that says your number
is changing. A suggestion is 'please note that from the 1 November my new
telephone number will be 0161 625.'
2.. Change your current voicemail message to say that your number is
changing
3.. Send an email to all of your contacts with your new number
4.. At the end of telephone calls you make or receive before the go live
date finish the conversation with a reminder about your new number
5.. When sending cards this Christmas why not include your new number with
a festive greeting. If you are not going to be sending Christmas cards you
could always send a festive email and include your new number in that.
All new telephone numbers have been issued with this email. Anyone who has
any problems with their new phones is advised that they need to be logged
through the IT helpdesk.
Kind regards
