italian-studies: Scholarly discussions in any field of Italian studies
The Italian section of the Department of Modern Languages at Utrecht
University invites applications for a position as assistant professor in
Italian Studies. In this part-time (40%) position with tenure you will teach
part of the courses offered in the BA and MA program in Italian Studies,
particularly courses in the field of modern and contemporary Italian culture
and literature. You will also participate in the course program of several
collateral MA programs, notably the Research MA in Literary Studies. You are
an established specialist in modern and/or contemporary Italian culture and
literature with an international research profile. As a fellow of the
Research Institute for History and Culture, your current and future research
projects match the overall agenda of the Utrecht Research Group in Textual
Culture. You have a good track record in academic services and will act as a
co-ordinator in various academic programs and committees.
We offer a part-time tenure-track position of assistant professor (40%),
starting 1 December 2007, with a salary range - depending on track record -
from EUR 2.279 to EUR 4.761 gross per month with a full-time position.
