My conservation officer colleague says: 'Elaine Pearce at the DCMS may be able to assist. DCMS have a record of all the listed buildings and (normally) former listed buildings. Elaine is not in the office until next Wednesday but can be contacted on 0207 211 2353 or [log in to unmask] .'

Subject: Locally listed buildings and the HER
Good afternoon all,
Does anyone know whether buildings that were previously Listed Grade 3 (now
mostly on borough/district local lists) originally had entries in the Green
Backs? And if so, does this text still exist somewhere?
We are working on including locally listed buildings in our HER, but
currently its looking a bit patchy as the information held by each district
varies considerably (i.e. some don't hold descriptions for the buildings,
just the address).
As usual, any help would be greatly appreciated!
Regards,
Emily
