2007-08 Seminar Series
We would like to invite you to our 2007-08 seminar series run by the
Centre for Transcultural Research at London Metropolitan University. CTR
is interested in cultural transmissions both within and between dominant
and marginal communities and the ways in which languages and discourses
shape identities. This third seminar series seeks to explore a range of
different perspectives and draws on research from linguistics,
sociolinguistics, literacies, translation and sociology.
The seminars will take place at 6.00 pm in Tower Building, 166-220
Holloway Road, London N7 8DB (Tube: Holloway Road).
Everyone welcome but please bring a print-out of this notice.
