Please note that for a number of reasons, we are reversing the production
schedule for these two issues of Forced Migration Review (FMR). Both issues now
have new deadlines for submissions:
The FMR issue with a feature section on Burma (Myanmar) will now be published
in March 2008 (FMR 30). New deadline for submissions: 3rd January 2008. Full
details are at http://www.fmreview.org/burma.htm
The FMR issue focusing on climate change/environment and human displacement
will now be published in July 2008 (FMR 31). New deadline for submissions: 17th
March 2008. Full details are at http://www.fmreview.org/climatechange.htm
We apologise for any inconvenience this change of schedule may cause.
If you are interested in writing for either of these issues, please contact the
Editors at [log in to unmask] with an outline of your proposed article. Maximum
length of articles: 2,500 words. Further information for FMR authors is at:
http://www.fmreview.org/writing.htm. If you could help disseminate information
about these issues – and/or copies when printed – we would very much like to
hear from you.
Please note that we encourage readers to send us articles at any time on any
aspect of contemporary forced migration. Each issue of FMR has a feature theme
section but at least a third of each issue is set aside for 'non-theme'
articles.
We are currently looking to secure £50,000 / $102,000 / €75,000 to cover the
production costs for each of these two issues in English, French, Arabic and
Spanish. We would be very grateful for any advice you can give as to whom we
might approach for a partial contribution towards these costs.
With thanks and best wishes
Marion Couldrey
Editor, Forced Migration Review
