12.00- Dr Sheila Hingley, University of Durham: "How you can use your
library's history"

13.30- Historic Libraries Forum AGM 2007
14.00- Case study 1: "In Groves of Academe": Elizabeth Quarmby Lawrence on
college libraries
14.20- Case study 2: "The Biographical Approach": Neal Priestland on
membership records at Bromley House Library, Nottingham.
14.40- Case study 3: "Tatton and Others": Ed Potten on studying the history
of National Trust Libraries
15.00- Summary of case studies experience
15.15- Open discussion
15.45- Close, followed by opportunity to visit the Library of the Royal
Asiatic Society, with Helen Cordell, Hon. Librarian.
Participants are encouraged to bring examples of their libraries'
historical material for display and discussion. Sales permitted, but there
will not be a formal bookstall.
