Is anybody else out in Planning land having to deal with this?

It raises the usual issues...

1. How can we be certain they're getting a consistent response from all
institutions?

2. What is the point of us spending time returning data to HESA and then
having to deal with a plethora of requests similar to this?

I guess we'll just have to respond to this, but I'd be interested to
know if others have refused and on what grounds. I think this is setting
a worrying precedent, particularly with the press, whose FOI requests
are becoming much more frequent.
