Could you please remove my name from your list as I get your initial
email and then everyone's reply too!!
I'm in admin and don't have anything to do with addiction courses.

Dear Rowdy and Michael
Please remove me from the list as the course I've been running is now
coming to an end and I won't be involved in any further
alcohol/addiction specfic teaching in the forseeable future.
Many thanks
Christine

Hi Rowdy,
I don't know if you received my last email but now, including yourself,
so far all of the following have indicated that they can make a meeting
at Sussex sometime in the near future:
Dr Gareth Davies, University of Glamorgan
Dr Betsy Thom, Middlesex University
Dr Judith Myles, St George's
Professor Ilana Crome Email: [log in to unmask] Keele 01782 441658
Dr Ira Unell, University of Leicester Medical School
Professor Geoffrey Stephenson, London South Bank University
Dr Adrian Bonner - suggests that Dr Axel Klein should represent the
University of Kent
However, I am not that familiar with JISC mail and since I am not the
list owner I am not sure who is on the list. I think it includes: Dr
Christine Franey, Imperial College; Mr Trevor McCarthy, National
Treatment Agency; Dr John McMahon, University of Paisley; Dr Gillian
Tober, Leeds Addiction Unit; and Sally Woods, Liverpool JMU - but I have
had no replies from any of them yet. I am not sure if the following were
on the list: Kim Wollf - NAC - 020 7848 0823, email
<mailto:[log in to unmask]> ; Jennifer Igra - Middlesex 020 8411
2529, email <mailto:[log in to unmask]> , Dr Jon Cole - or Matt Field -
Liverpool 0151 794 2175, email <mailto:[log in to unmask]> ,
Christine Weatherill - Leeds 0113 295 1330, email
<mailto:[log in to unmask]> . Could you please email me a copy of
the current list membership so I can see if we have missed anybody?
Thanks,
Michael

Sounds good to me - my eldest son live in Brighton. So, very
convenient.

Subject: [Addiction Course Convenors] AERC sponsored meetings of
directors of postgraduate addiction courses in the UK
Dear Colleagues,
Following an AERC sponsored meeting in May the AERC has kindly agreed
to sponsor 3 further meetings of directors of postgraduate addiction
courses in the UK over the next 18 months or so. The purpose of these
meetings is to share knowledge about all aspects of alcohol training,
including best practice, types of teaching, and how to optimize AERC
studentship funding to promote advanced alcohol training and research.
To facilitate attendance at (at least one of the 3) meetings I would
like to suggest that we hold one meeting in England, one in Wales and
one in Scotland. I propose that we hold the first meeting in England
since this is likely to attract the largest attendance and will inform
subsequent meetings. I would be happy to arrange for the meeting to be
hosted by the University of Sussex if this is convenient?
Best wishes,
Michael
