Rob, I am more than happy to welcome Jeannie into our AACORN organization.
What terrific work she is doing! She's just what we need to continue to
enrich our dialogues. I would look forward to personal contact with her as
well. Thank you for introducing her to us. My best to you.

Subject: Introduction to the AACORN list
Hi All,
I'd like to introduce Jeannie Lindheim to our list.
Jeannie is Boston-based and has taught acting, movement,
improvisation, creativity, auditioning, characterization techniques
for the past 30 years at a variety of educational institutions
including: The Boston Conservatory of Music, Harvard University Law
School (Theater in the Courtroom), Boston University, Boston College,
Lesley College Expressive Therapies Graduate Program and many other
institutions. She's currently director of the Jeannie Lindheim’s
Center for Creativity-Turning Inspiration into Action where she
offers arts-based workshops (www.center4creativity.org) for a variety
of organizations, especially in healthcare.
In 1996, Jeannie Lindheim went to Russia with Patch Adams and 35
other hospital clowns and started her Hospital Clown Troupe in Boston
after she returned. The troupe has entertained over 30,000 children
in the last 10 years. She wrote a Training Program which has sold in
17 countries (www.hospital-clowns.org). Jeannie has conducted over
100 regional and national workshops for primary care and specialty
physician groups in Dealing with Challenging Patients and Situation
and Communicating to Patients with Life-threatening illness. She has
acted professionally and studied at Boston University; New York
City's Herbert Berghof Studio, the American Conservatory Theater in
San Francisco and at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London,
England. She holds a Master of Arts from the University of California
and a Master of Fine Arts from Brandeis University. You might even
have heard her voice before, since she does voice-over work for a
long list of companies.
I hope others will join me in welcoming Jeannie to our group.
