Hi everyone
Thanks for the great network. I only joined your group a month ago after attending a BNMI week's course in Sydney, Australia delivered by Tom and Prue. They are wonderful presenters and I sure did get my dollars worth.
I am a fulltime PhD candidate at the Australian Catholic University, Strathfield campus. My research interest is in Indigenous educational leadership and my study is investigating 'Indigenous female principals in Northern Territory remote community schools: issues in negotiating school community partnerships'. I worked with a group of these women for ten years teaching and travelling to support them in their remote community schools.
I have just finished transcribing my pilot interviews of the BNIM which at this stage I have decided to use as part of my methodology. Hmmmm now I need to tackle the next stage.... hope there'll be someone there to help when I get stuck in the process. Kip and Carina, I have read some wonderful articles and thesis which so far have been very helpful in my understanding of BNIM. Thanks for such great work.
Anyway that's all for now. I'll be in touch.
