Dear All,
the article that you can read at the following link:
http://www.guardian.co.uk/environment/2007/oct/09/energy
discusses the imminent dig of a huge coal mine in Wales. I would be interested
in hearing of any archaeological work that might have been done (or it has been
planned) in advance of this 'development'.
My interest mainly concerns what position archaeologists may take in being
associated with a project, which - in my view - makes a mockery of the British
government much publicised plea to reduce CO2 emissions.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Cheers,
Umberto
