Dear John,
the txt-files are saved if you have used the VBM5 toolbox. The values are
the volumes in ml of the raw images and mainly thought to be used in order
to define nuisance parameters for modulated images. You can also apply some
statistical tests to analyze the raw volumes of GM/WM/CSF. I would recommend
to use the "calculate raw volumes" option in the VBM5.1 toolbox to merge the
values of all subjects to one file which can be easily read with
excel/gnumerics (with tabs as delimiters) or any other software.
