medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
2) Oglerius (Ogerius, Ogier) of Trino (or of Lucedio; Bl.; d. 1214).
Born in today's Trino (VC) in Piedmont, O. entered religion, probably as

founded from La Ferté in 1124.

as reformed Benedictines - neither accepted oblates nor educted children.
Only adult novices coming of their own volition.
Are there recorded exceptions to this ?
