The UK Bibliographic Standards Committee of the CILIP Rare Books Group is holding two training sessions on the cataloguing rules Descriptive Cataloging of Rare Materials (Books) (DCRM(B)), published in 2007, as follows:
Thursday, 22 November 2007, 2.30 - 5.00 p.m.: Senate House Library, University of London
Wednesday, 23 January, 2008, 2.30 - 5.00 p.m.: National Library of Scotland, Edinburgh.
The training sessions are aimed at those acquainted with Descriptive Cataloging of Rare Books (DCRB), and will focus on the differences between the old set of rules and the new. Each session will last two and a half hours and will include tea. The price is £25.00.
