CATALOGUER (fixed term for one year)
The Library at the Institute of Psychiatry, Kings College London invites applications for the position of Cataloguer. The post has been created to enable the delivery of a retrospective cataloguing project aimed at increasing the accessibility of the historical collection. As part of the project it is envisaged that the post-holder may also assist in identifying any preservation needs of items in the collection.
The successful candidate will have experience in collection management and cataloguing and will have a thorough understanding of AACR2 and MARC21. German or other European language skills would be well regarded and familiarity with the Aleph library management system would also be an advantage.
Starting salary in the range £23,800 pa to £26,207 pa (inclusive of £2,323 pa London Allowance), depending on qualifications and experience.
