Dear Colleague
As part of their regional workshop programme, Netskills will be running the following workshops at Newcastle University in October:
1. Dreamweaver: The Essentials, 23rd – 24th October
-----------------------------------------------------
This practical 2-day workshop delivers an essential guide to the core Dreamweaver features for the creation, formatting, management and updating of web page content. It is suitable for anyone for those would like to create their own web pages and web sites using Dreamweaver.
2. Fundamentals of Flash 8, 25th October
-----------------------------------------------------
Increasingly, web designers now wish to incorporate more than text and static images in their sites. Macromedia Flash provides a means of creating animated content that is optimised for web delivery. This can include elements such as animated graphics and text, as well as more sophisticated applications, such as tutorials and simulations.
3. Certificate in Training Design & Delivery, 30th Oct – 2nd Nov
-----------------------------------------------------
A practical 4-day course enabling delegates to gain skills and expertise in all aspects of the training process, including: design, development, delivery, assessment and evaluation. In addition, assessment during and after the course will be accredited through a nationally recognised qualification.
4. Project Management for the Education Sector, 2nd November
-----------------------------------------------------
This workshop introduces a project management methodology that can be adapted for any size of project and is specifically tailored to the needs of the education sector. The day is interactive, providing a structured approach to project management and investigating a number of examples.
It is provided in conjunction with JISC infoNet, the advisory service for managers in the post-compulsory education sector promoting effective planning, implementation and management of information and learning technology.
