Hi,
I think I just solved my problem. I had a process like:
ldap 17184 0.0 0.1 11700 2300 ? Ssl 12:08 0:00
/usr/sbin/slapd -u ldap -h ldap:///
in the CE and, after killing it, the globus-mds is hanguing on for quite
some time.
This also means that the messages

had nothing to do with my problem.... because they are there all the time.
Now, I also noticed that they are there in our PPS CE also.
Both CEs are running BDII_sites on SLC4 (no VMs there). And I checked
that the content of
/opt/globus/lib/sasl/libgssapiv2_gsi_gcc32pthr.la seems ok from what I'm
able to understand:

Maybe this is something related to the link we have to do from
openldap2.2 to openldap2.0 to be able to run things in SLC4? (Just a
guess!!!)
