Hi
I as RoMEO Administrator, regularly contact publishers not currently
listed in RoMEO to determine their self-archiving policies. I then use
their response to allocate the colours used on RoMEO.
We are happy to investigate any suggested publishers.
If you wish to contact publishers yourselves, we do have some standard
letters you may wish to use. And of course we'd appreciate being
forwarded any responses you receive. The template letters and further
informaiton on definitions for pre-print and post-prints can be found
here http://www.sherpa.ac.uk/guidance/submission.html
Feel free to e-mail be directly for any further queries.

Subject: asking non-SHERPA/RoMEO publishers if green or not
Dear all,
To ask publishers not listed in SHERPA/RoMEO list if green or not, is
there any sample letter or could someone show actual example?
As nonnative of English, however, I hope to get across to publishers the
context accurately.
