Dear Colleague
There is still time to book on the following Netskills workshops that we will be running at Oxford University Computing Services in September:
1. Mobile Learning: Education on Demand, 25th September
-----------------------------------------------------
Mobile Learning: the next stage of e-Learning, or a whole new learning experience? This workshop explores the principles and practice of m-Learning. It is for anyone who is interested in the application of mobile technologies in education, or those who simply wish to know more about the emerging technologies and potential uses.
2. Developing Problem Based e-Learning, 26th September
-----------------------------------------------------
Fed up with passive, page turning e-learning? Engage your learners in active, dynamic, enquiry based e-learning by developing realistic problem solving activities that encourage the application of analytical, creative and critical thinking skills.
3. Effective e-Learning with Moodle, 27th September
-----------------------------------------------------
The Moodle learning environment is becoming increasingly popular in the UK education sector. It is free to use, having been developed through the Open Software model, and is designed using sound pedagogical principles. This workshop introduces Moodle, its main features and demonstrates why Moodle is different from other learning environments. You will be given access to your own installation of Moodle for 4 weeks after this workshop.
We would also appreciate it if you could forward this message onto any colleagues that you feel may find it useful.
