Dear frank,
After downloading coot-0.3.3-binary-IRIX.tar.gz, check its md5sum
against coot-0.3.3-binary-IRIX.tar.gz.md5sum which is also on the FTP
server (the md5sum should be 32b2b2f42569620b63a14e3bf0979523).
I downloaded coot-0.3.3-binary-IRIX.tar.gz using lftp. It gunzipped and
untarred ok.
As an aside: to me it would be helpful if you indicated your complete
real name in your email address, or in your signature. Somehow that
helps me thinking about how to solve somebody else's problem.
HTH,
Kay
