Now that astonishes me. I've downloaded the file around two dozen times
and the results are always more or less the same. See a summary of the
latest download tries below. The files were freshly downloaded each
time with wget or lynx. Filesize (du -sh) is always 84252.
Platforms tested today:
Fedora Core 6 (kernel 2.6.20-1.2962.fc6, x86_64),
wget 1.10.2 (Red Hat modified), gzip 1.3.5
Fedora Core 6 (kernel 2.6.20-1.2962.fc6, i686),
wget 1.10.2 (Red Hat modified), gzip 1.3.5
CentOS 5 (kernel 2.6.18-8.1.3.el5, x86_64),
wget 1.10.2 (Red Hat modified), gzip 1.3.5
RedHat Linux 8.0 (kernel 2.4.18-14bigmem, i686),
wget 1.8.2, gzip 1.3.3
The error messages when doing `gunzip -c coot-0.3.3-binary-IRIX.tar.gz |
tar tf -` are slightly different. I show the last read file and then
the error message of above command below. Analogous errors show up
under IRIX and Mac OS X. Can anybody figure out what the problem could be?
