Subject: "Questions to ask" final leaflets
Dear all,
I'm writing to you as you participated in a consultation on the design of a
tool known as "Questions to Ask" (formerly Power Questions) in early last
year. Questions to ask is a short leaflet of tips and prompts to help
support people to get the most out of their medical appointments. After a
series of consultations we have arrived at a finished product, which we are
now looking to distribute as widely as possible. The leaflet, and posters
advertising it, are being sent out in large numbers to GP practices and
pharmacies in late September/early October, but we're keen to publicise the
leaflet and make sure it reaches as many people as possible.
I've attached the finished leaflet itself to this email, as well as a short
note on the background, development, and how to order copies. If you feel
the leaflets are of interest to your organisation, I'd be grateful if you
could pass this email on to colleagues, or circulate the information on
your news bulletins. Copies of the leaflet are free to order if you would
like to make them available to patients or carers you work with, or please
get in touch if you would like us to send you a bulk amount for you to
distribute to other offices or locations.
The leaflets are available to order in braille, easy read, large print and
audio (in limited numbers initially), and I can also send you electronic
versions in a number of different languages (detailed in the information
attached).
If you'd like to discuss any aspect of this work, or would like electronic
files of any of the formats, then please get in contact. I'm out of the
office until the 17th September, but will get back to you as quickly as
possible on my return.
Regards,
Clare
