Utterly agree. For instance in FormatConverter suppose I select
import--single file--project--talos there needs to be help information
to tell me what this is going to achieve for me. I tried it and it
wanted a .tab file. (but I had to guess that from the file opener
popup). What information is it going to take from this - it hardly
specifies much to define a "project" in the ccpn sense. How does it
differ from import sequence for instance, or the import multiple files
popup (which is more informative).
I am not posting this to get a specific answer to this TALOS case, but
(unless the documentation exists and I have missed it) to say the sort
of documentation that I think is vital. I agree with Brian that maybe we
can help fill this documentation in (as different people will be expert
in the idiosyncracies and subtleties of different "foreign" programs).
(Brian I think you meant "DO feel really comfortable .."!)
