Senior Biometrician – Antisoma Research Limited – West London
This is an ideal role for a statistician within the pharmaceutical / biotechnology industry or a CRO looking to broaden his/her experience in statistics, programming and data management. Reporting to the Biometrics Manager, you will have an involved role driving the entire biometrics function within Antisoma. You will be looking to move from a purely statistics-based role and take greater strategic involvement in the development of the biometrics function.
Antisoma is an oncology-focused biopharmaceutical company with a strong pharmaceutical partnership and exciting compounds in Phase I – III development.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Working in a small team alongside the Biometrics Manager, you will provide biometrics input into protocol development and other trial set-up activities, and be responsible for the creation of statistical analysis plans, the programming of analysis datasets and outputs, and statistical reporting for individual clinical studies.
You will also oversee the outsourced data management and statistical activities for individual clinical studies.
As well as hands-on analysis, there will be opportunities to be involved in the planning and analyses for the integrated efficacy summary and integrated safety summary, and in projects such as the development and maintenance of a standard library for SAS programs and standard data repository structure, development of SOPs, and other projects within the clinical department.
EXPERIENCE
· Educated to MSc or higher level in a statistics discipline
· Experience working as a statistician in a pharmaceutical company, biotechnology company or CRO
· Strong SAS programming experience
· Good understanding of data management
· Experience in the set-up and maintenance of programming standards, knowledge of CDISC, CRO management, oncology and/or Bayesian methodology would be advantageous.
