Sobering indeed, thanks Doug, for pointing to the Truth Out Reports.
Maybe the Wall Street Journal should change its name to the War Street
Journal.
I am also wondering if we - in the USA - should amplify the goal of
Universal Health Insurance to Universal Wealth Insurance. (Poets and Writers
included, of course).
But where would the world be without "Free Markets." I think a big
percentage of the world (without markets, or control of same) says "that"
concept is open to question, as well.
Yes, those of us who protest are all free loaders and worse, including the
possession of low or no SAT scores, and poor neighborhood profiles, etc.
The nice guys are all on top. And buying art, and adamantly reading no
poetry while they are at it.
Is it only the Artic and now the Antarctic that's melting down?
Jaded, I wonder what Senator Craig, Karl Rove, Alberto Gonzales, Don
Rumsfeld, Harriet Miers, X Bremer, Z Tenet, etc., etc. are having for
drinks this afternoon. Maybe some chilled water from the Artic??
I hear Condoleza Rice - when she finishes her term as head of the State
Department - wants to return to Stanford to continue teaching so that her
students can 'get it right' next time.
What's not left to pick up and cry??
