The British Psychological Society are hosting this seminar on Social
Inclusion, apologies if you have already received details. It is mainly
aimed at encouraging applied psychologists to be mindful of people's social
positions, details below:

Friday 5th October, 10am – 4pm
Society Offices, 30 Tabernacle Street, London EC2
Foci for the day:
Policy – what’s social inclusion got to do with the EU, UK Government,
children and young people, employment and mental health?
Co-ordination – how can the Society’s Divisions meaningfully collaborate to
move forward the social inclusion agenda?
Practice – what does socially inclusive practice look like?
Format for the day:
Short presentations relating to issues of policy and practice will be
interspersed with plenary sessions where co-ordination and aspirations can
be explored.
