Yes, I would imagine that the pop-up mentioned above would include an
option to along the lines of: "that's fine. just update the checksum
please", which would then allow the transparent replacement of the
spectrum. (which currently only works if you take care to keep
referencing, sweepwidth and zerofilling etc the same, I think)
