The day aims to bring together a wide range of interested parties to identify current knowledge about experiences of 'whole family' support. The day will provide an opportunity to explore a range of related core issues, including bridging gaps across children's and adults' services, what it can mean to 'think family', and when is 'thinking family' appropriate (always, or sometimes?).
This event is part of a series of ESRC funded seminars exploring issues of importance to disabled parents, practitioners, policy makers and researchers.
SPEAKERS
John Keep, Disabled Parents Network
Jenny Frank, The Children's Society
Beth Tarleton, Norah Fry Research Centre, University of Bristol
