Hi Jo and colleagues,
No clashes I'm aware of or concerns with the dates from this neck of the
woods.
I'd certainly like to attend; will probably bring some colleagues and
have some WIL plans under development which might be 'presentable' and
for which I would appreciate some input by next Spring and beyond.
Enjoy the rest of the summer (especially those in the damp UK!)

Subject: 2008 conference plans
Hi everyone
things have been a bit busy for all of us, but we are now emerging from
the chaos and starting to think about a WIL conference in 2008.
SCEPTrE's operational plan commits us to running a national event
focussing on what Surrey calls Professional Training. There are ideas in
the pipeline, but at this stage we want some practical advice and help.
We are currently looking at dates just after Easter (March 31st - April
2nd) OR in mid- June. At this early stage, we hope you can tell us if 1.
you're already running something around either of these times (that we
could link with OR try not to clash); 2. you know that there is another
conference on a related theme that risks clashing with these prospective
dates; 3. you'd like to be involved in designing / running the event or
have current ideas (on WIL / enquiry themes) you'd like us to take
forward; 4. you would like to come / bring colleagues but have exam
dates or boards that would clash with either of these optional periods
of time.
We know we can't please all the people all the time and that eventually
we'll just have to opt for a date, but we hope you appreciate being
consulted early in our planning.
Keep in touch
Jo
