I think that must just be if you're applying the GPO to Users rather
than Computers. Our AD install of VS 2005 is done per computer and
didn't require any elevation of privileges, just that the Computer
account in AD needs execute on the installation source.
Cheers
Joe

Well, to my shame I think I've solved this.
You have to set the elevated privileges via the GPO, which I thought I
had done. However you have to do this for both users and computers. I
of course had only done it for computers.
Damn! At least it's Friday.
Andy
Now just to get it working for Vista as well....

Nope that doesn't appear to be it. I can do an install from the disk
(it says all prerequisites are met) but any attempt to push it out meets
in failure.
Any ideas ?
Andy
