Hi Hilary
I ran an online conference in March where Ron Mitchell used Live Classroom to deliver a synchronous session (becoming popularly known as a Webinar). It was really impressive as a tool, but it is only a tool. Ron was magnificent as a facilitator and he used many of it's features to produce a seminar that was interesting, interactive, and fun.
I've since used it to deliver a session for the West Midlands online conference 'Discover-e', and RSC London have a schedule to deliver 10 Webinars over the next academic year using Live Classroom.
My only reservation though is how a learning provider would use it to support f2f and blended learning. I'm not sure how I would introduce it, but I'd be interested in hearing from anyone who could offer examples of good or innovative practice.

Subject: Wimba audio tools
Dear all,
We are about to start a series of projects specifically using the Wimba Live
Classroom tool. Does anyone have any experiences (good or bad), examples of
effective use, support materials or best practice guides they would be
willing to share about Live Classroom or any of the other Wimba audio tools?
